DAY 4 If free time, you can visit the flea market of Monastiraki, or make an excursion to Cap Sounion Transfer to the airport of Athens Arrival in Roma and transfer to hotel. Night in Roma.
DAY 05 COLOSEUM-ROMAN FORUM-PALATINE HILLBreakfast Included
Day 5 – HD tour with Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill (3 hours). After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point and we will start our first tour for the ancient Roma with the Colosseum, named by the Romans as "Amphitheatrum Flavium", built by Emperor Vespasian in 72 AD; the symbol of the city housed the gladiators’ games for many centuries. Next to the Colosseum we’ll explore Palatine Hill, the spot where brothers Remus and Romulus battled over who would found the first empire, and where Romulus founded the city that would become Rome; then we continue our tour through the streets and trails of the Roman Forum, the heart of Ancient Rome. Home to the bustling marketplace, ruled by moneylenders and shopkeepers, this was Rome at its finest. Here politicians held rallies before elections, soldiers marched triumphantly down the Sacred Way and the Vestal Virgins decided if men lived or died. Free afternoon. Night in Roma.
DAY 06 VATICAN-SISTINE CHAPEL-ST PETER BASILICABreakfast Included
Day 6 – HD tour for Vatican with Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica (3 hours). After breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point and we will start our Vatican tour. We follow a carefully planned route through the Museums, visiting the most famous rooms such as the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms, plus a wide variety of galleries full of ancient sculptures, tapestries, medieval maps, paintings and precious relics. As you travel your guide will teach you about not just the pieces you see but the stories behind them and the Vatican itself. You’ll learn about the little details in Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescos – such as the painful punishments he painted for his enemies and his own personal message to the Pope. You’ll learn about the characters that walked these corridors before you as artists, Cardinals and Popes and the dramas that unfolded here. >From the Sistine Chapel we head to St. Peter’s Basilica, so we can visit the stunning masterpieces held within such as Michelangelo’s ‘Pieta’ and the incredible altar, not to mention the Basilica itself and its impressive dome – the construction of which threatened to rip the church in two. Day 8 Full Day Paris  This fantastic half day excursion (morning or afternoon) gives you an opportunity to discover Paris''s famous tourist sights and monuments. It includes lunch at the restaurant on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower, a city tour by panoramic coach, and an hour-long cruise along the Seine. Experience the beauty and heritage of the French capital in three different ways. Your tour of Paris by air-conditioned panoramic coach will last for one and a half hours: learn about the city''s history and its well-known monuments thanks to our audio guide commentary (individual headsets). DAY 09 REIMS CATHEDRAL AND CHAMPAGNEReims Cathedral and Champagne Full day excursion from Paris to the city of Reims and its region, known all over the world for the production of a unique and prestigious product that needs no introduction: Champagne. As part of this tour, your guide will show you the majestic 13th-Century Reims Cathedral, where the coronations of the Kings of France once took place. You will also visit Mumm and Mercier, two famous Champagne houses, where you can taste Champagne and admire the picturesque landscape of the region''s vineyards. Set off from our agency in the center of Paris at 8 a.m. for a memorable day in the Champagne Region to the east of Paris (arrival scheduled for around 10:30 a.m.). Begin your excursion with a guided visit of the cellars of the famous Mumm Champagne house, where you will learn about their expertise and the secrets behind the creation of their many Champagnes. At the end of your tour, taste the famous "Red Ribbon" Champagne, one of the most popular Champagnes in the world. Your excursion continues with a guided tour of Reims''s imposing Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A Gothic masterpiece and site of the coronations of the Kings of France, it is also well-known for its many statues and extraordinary 13th-Century stained glass windows. Spend your free time exploring Reims city center and enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants in beautiful Erlon Square, for example. The afternoon brings the chance to discover the surrounding countryside and its pretty villages, forests and prestigious Champagne vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see. On arrival in Epernay, visit with an audioguide your second Champagne house of the day, Mercier, founded in 1858. You will travel by automated train to a depth of 100 feet to visit the huge cellars, before finishing your tour with a Champagne tasting. Departure from Epernay is scheduled for 4 p.m., arriving back in Paris at around 6:30 p.m. Night in Paris
