Day 01 - Sarajevo Arrival Day Dinner Included
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Tonight, join your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner.
Day 02 - Sarajevo Breakfast Included
Sarajevo, the capital of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been influenced by a number of cultures and civilizations over its long history. On your city tour, visit the Turkish Bazaar Bas Carsija, Husref Bay’s Mosque, the Olympic Stadium and Gavrilo Princip Museum. Your afternoon and evening are free.
Day 03 - DubrovnikBreakfast and Dinner Included
Drive through the gorge of the Neretva River to Mostar. Here, see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the 16th-century stone bridge. Then travel on to Dubrovnik, with its picturesque setting on the Adriatic Sea.
Day 04 - Dubrovnik Breakfast Included
Transfer from Bansko to Thessaloniki, our professional driver who will transfer you to your hotel. It is your free day to explore and enjoy Thessaloniki on your own. Depending on the time of arrival, you can spend the day walking around, doing the shopping or relaxing in one of many cafeterias or Taverns in Thessaloniki down town. Overnight in Thessaloniki.
Day 05 - Split Breakfast and Dinner Included
Depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the spectacular Adriatic coast to Split. Enjoy a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Plus, see the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and Cathedral.
Day 06 - Trogir and Plitvice Lakes Breakfast and Dinner Included
After breakfast, head to Trogir, the center of artistic activities. Scholars from around the world gather here to study and paint. Then, turn inland and travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Then, have your camera ready and as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation.
Day 07 - Opatija, Postojna and Bled Breakfast and Dinner Included
Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to its popular resort, Opatija. After some free time, journey north into Slovenia. Next is Postojna, home to one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterward, continue to Bled, beautifully set in the Julian Alps.
Day 08 - Bled Breakfast Included
A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure; perhaps take an optional excursion, visiting the small island in the middle of the lake.
Day 09 - Ljubljana and Zagreb Breakfast and Dinner Included
Travel to Ljubljana the capital of Slovenia. Visit the most significant sights of the old city center the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Then, continue to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia.
Day 10 - Zagreb Breakfast Included
This morning, enjoy many historic city highlights. Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside.
Day 11 - Zagreb Breakfast Included
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
